There are women out there who get this all the time - when someone guesses their age completely wrong, like a whole decade younger

People’s jaws drop, they can't believe it: "No way - you're in your 50s, but you look 30!? Impossible, how?!"


And these women just go about their lives, not having to worry about things like under-eye bags adding a couple of years, or those pesky 'elevens' between their brows making them look angry and tired all the time.


But for most women, this is just a dream, not their reality. 

We look in the mirror every morning, checking if our skin looks tired, if those lines are getting deeper, wondering what else we could try to look just a little bit younger, or at least not 'as old'...

I swear I just started this maybe 4 weeks ago and I’ve had this saggy piece of skin under my chin forever, you can only see it when i turn my head but anyway, I hate it. Anyway I started doing my face yoga a month ago and I swear it’s gone. I can’t see it no matter how I turn my head and it was always super easy to spot before. I’m blown away! idk how it works exactly but I enjoy the relaxation in my short routine so im going to keep doing it!

Until recently, I had an undiagnosed health issue that left me with temporary Bell’s Palsy and lots of scar tissue all over my neck, skull, and face. Face yoga, neck exercises, and the massages also from luvly- legit broke it up and transformed my whole face. For the better, of course.

I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which affects collagen. Basically it means my face looks like a wax candle that got too hot and everything dropped! (exactly what happens when we age, I know!) Now I do two things twice a day - facial yoga (along with my normal yoga which completely changed the shape of my body), and my skincare with serums and facial massage. All of it by luvly app. Under the skin are literally hundreds of muscles that we need to tone up if we want our face to look its best. It doesn’t stop the ageing, but just like other muscles it firms and tones things up, tightens sagging skin, and gives you an improvement if you do the exercises daily.
